Validation for the Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 driver for Linux was originally focused on
executing test passes towards basic functionality against all distributions
since 0.40.
Since the release of the Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 driver for Linux, the validation effort has been combined with this driver to ensure that both drivers continue to increase in quality. See the Intel PRO/Wireless 2200 driver for Linux Validation page for more information on the current validation plans.
We plan to run automated basic acceptance tests
(ABAT)
against each release of the driver to ensure that basic functionality is
present.
Our goal is to gather results from running the ABAT against as many Linux
OSDs and hardware types as possible. If you'd like to help, feel free to

Nov 01 2004 Full test pass completed against 0.56
A full test pass was run by Yan, Nan against the version 0.56. Detailed results can be found here.
Test pass summary: 153 test cases run. 137 test cases passed ==> 89.5% pass ratio. General comment is that most features are working well, except for 802.1x.
